Nextail is a technology startup dedicated to empowering fashion retailers to succeed and overcome the obstacles that hinder them from meeting customer demand at their various points of sale. This is achieved through advanced, yet intuitive, AI and machine learning solutions. The Nextail merchandise planning platform enables fashion businesses to consistently align their planning and execution decisions with market needs. This is achieved by integrating hyper-local demand forecasting, global inventory optimization, and AI-powered decision automation into their fundamental merchandising operations.

Like any startup there comes a moment when scaling becomes necessary, and its technological platform goes hand in hand. During my time in the company, and as the owner of the design system from which the platform is built, I am responsible for defining new foundations, correcting and evolving components, modules and patterns. I also handle the implementation of tokens and workflow with the front-end team to ensure the consistency and quality of the system and the products it supports.

Regarding product design, I am responsible for designing the new Assortment module, from its discovery phase to the handoff to the development team profiles, collaborating continuously with the Product Manager and stakeholders for functionality definition, flow design, and creation of new interaction patterns.

Furthermore, I illustrate the product vision and the company's value proposition, focusing on the evolution of existing modules and new interaction patterns, including features related to data visualization, explainability of Artificial Intelligence or centralization of omnichannel decisions made in a retail supply chain.
